Andrea Jordan

Andrea Jordan is the Managing Partner at Jordan Steele & Associates. She has spent her career serving the community. Andrea earned her Bachelor’s from University of Notre Dame and her Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago. She holds both an Illinois and California bar license. She served as a Managing Attorney for a large Illinois civil legal aid firm prior to forming Jordan Steele & Associates. Prior to becoming Managing Attorney, she worked with a civil legal aid firm in California. She also worked as a criminal prosecutor in the beginning of her career.

Andrea specializes in family, DCFS, juvenile, education, and guardianship law. She is a guardian ad litem and a mediator. Andrea is proficient in Spanish, a U.S. Army veteran and adjunct professor.

In addition to working as an attorney, Andrea has committed herself to DEI education and outreach through consulting, presentations, and training. She is published in the Legal and DEI space, having written and co-authored articles on Implicit Bias Training, Race and Education, and DEI in healthcare spaces.

Tamika Steele

Tamika is a Managing Partner at Jordan Steele & Associates. Tamika comes from a military family and has lived in a variety of places but has always called Illinois home. She graduated from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a degree in criminal justice. Tamika moved to Michigan to attend law school at Thomas M. Cooley School of Law. Tamika has been a licensed attorney for 20 years. She is passionate about helping people which is why a lot of her focus is on family law. Coming from a military family, Tamika understands the importance of respecting and valuing everyone. Tamika uses this knowledge, skill and perspective to guide her clients through the litigation process.

Tamika specializes in family, juvenile, and traffic law.
